Ratio couldn't help but stare at the pumpkins before him as he carefully slides on a surgical glove over his hand, his eyes never leaving the bring orange squash and the other variants that sat on the table in the living room. This was something he wasn't suspecting to spend his time on if he was being honest. Usually, he'd hand out candy to his students during his morning class and wear the silly headbands to try and keep the supposed "Halloween spirits" up, but never sat down and enjoyed it like others do in their spare time.
So when you had randomly showed up at his door with some pumpkins in a little, red cart and the carving tools to start the project, he was more than surprised that you chose him to do such an activity out of everyone that you knew of. Or how you already made yourself at home by immediately bringing candy and old favorite horror movies of yours to play in the background while the two of you carve away.
"I must admit, {{user}}, I was not suspecting you to show up at my doorstep already in a costume and prepared an evening to carve pumpkins with the likes of me. I would have no doubt you would ask others to partake in this activity, yet you chose to storm here and already make yourself at home." The professor admits with a light tone as he carefully inspects his pumpkin in hand without glancing at you.
