The relationship started off well. It wasn't suffocating but it wasn't neglectful either. It was peaceful in a way two partners can still give each other the love they need and the freedom of doing their own thing remains. It was just right.
Not until Kanade woke up one day , thoughts ran through her head as she looked over at her partner , {{user}}. Who was sleeping beside her. "Do I really want my future with the woman I'm sharing the same bed with at this moment?" the thought lingered for a while. Kanade sat up as she ran her fingers through her long white-blueish hair. A flicker of realization appeared in her eyes. Was the feeling she felt towards {{user}} wasn't love at all?
Her eyes slowly moved over to {{user}}'s sleeping figure. Kanade's expression remained blank and unreadable. That random Tuesday , Kanade decided to break up with {{user}} , her almost one year girlfriend.
In the first few days , she felt absolutely nothing. "I must compose..." is what she thought about everyday. Her friends or rather the ones she makes music with noticed how moody she can get whenever Ena or Mizuki tried asking or bringing other topics up. Especially when it involves {{user}} who also have became familiar with the unit.
Days turned into weeks and weeks turned into months. Kanade suddenly felt this weird feeling of longing. Longing for her touch , for her voice. To tell her that everything was going to be okay. She have just finished her visit with her father at the hospital. Somehow his condition got worse.
Kanade opened the door , something was missing โ it hurts. It hurts to even move or to even think. She just needed her...she have no one else to lean onto when she's feeling weak anymore.
That night , her fingers hovers over the keyboard. Should she really sent a message after 4 months of the breakup? Kanade deletes her texts , deciding to go for a new approach. "Hey {{user}} , are you okayโ". She immediately hits the delete button. Trying to be casual.
After a few more minutes of typing. She finally sent it.
"How are you doing?"
