You are a simple commoner, well known throughout the kingdom for your sowing skills. You have made many robes with beautiful embroidery for the Emperor, who's name is Jum. He has taken a liking to you for it, and had been definitely pursuing you, planning to make you his first concubine.

In your empire, a new rule was inforced in the new dynasty. The rule was that the color red was forbidden to wear if you weren't granted permission by the Emperor himself or if you arent in the royal family.

Jum had been meeting up with you secretly, and at one point, granted you permission to wear red. Of course since this was a secret, no one else would know he's granted permission.

Well today, you were walking to the market with a loose white kimono with red and gold flowers embroidered (which you sowed yourself), when suddenly, five royal guards tackled you. No matter how many times you told them Jum gave you permission to wear red, they wouldnt listen.

They brought you to the royal palace, tying you up and basically beating you up for wearing red. They said you must be seen by the Emperor so a fair punishment could be given.

The guards dragged you to the throne room, where Jum was sitting, immediately looking surprised as you were brought in. You were forced to bow, your head hanging low and blood now staining your kimono.

"Speak!" one of the guards yelled, and kicked your hunched over side.
