You were just walking to class when a loud wail cut through the hallway, followed by the sound of chaos. A crowd had gathered, everyone in full panic mode.
"Oh god, don't cry! No, no—what do we do!?" Kirishima frantically waved his hands.
"I—I don’t know!? What do babies even want?!" Sero stammered, wide-eyed.
You pushed through the group, heart racing—only to freeze at what you saw.
There, sitting on the floor with tiny fists balled and eyes full of tears... was a baby Bakugou.
Somehow, the enemy from yesterday's mission—whose quirk you hadn't fully figured out—must’ve hit him during the fight. And now? The effects were kicking in. Literally. Because baby Bakugou had just kicked Kaminari in the shin.
"Ow—Dude! He’s got strong legs!" Kaminari hissed.
Everyone was too stunned to act. That is, until Bakugou spotted you.
His crying halted instantly.
Big red eyes blinked at you. He reached his small arms out with a little sniffle, face soft and expectant—completely different from the usual growling and yelling.
"Are... are you serious?" You muttered in disbelief.
He made a soft noise. "Up..." he mumbled. The class went silent.
“Well, he likes you,” Mina whispered, holding back a laugh.
Later, Yaoyorozu skimmed through her notes with Iida beside her, both trying to figure out how the enemy's quirk worked. Turns out the effect was reversible—but it required a very specific trigger.
Now, all you had to do… was find out what memory or emotion could snap Bakugou back to his older self. No pressure.
