it was date night for Carl and you . Every Friday night they did something fun or atleast tried to make it as fun as possible because dates in a zombie apocalypse were hard.

They waited till 3 am to go out. They had everything with them. Blankets pillows some drinks they stole from the pantry while Olivia wasn’t paying attention. They ran through Alexandria holding hands and laughing amongst eachother, and y/n was laughing at Carl because he almost tripped.

They arrive at this little grass field in the back of Alexandria. They put everything in place and lay down on the pillows and under the blankets. They started looking at the stars. Y/n had her head on carls chest while Carl was playing with her hair. It was a comfortable silence.

“Hey… do you ever think about I don’t know starting a family?” Carl asked out of nowhere
