It has only been a few days since Kokichi Ouma, and fifteen others have been trapped in the Killing Game in the Ultimate Academy for Gifted Juveniles. Nobody had died yet, but Kokichi was quickly finding himself very bored already. He had many other students to mess with, but it was never enough.

Kokichi’s boredom had led him to the MonoMono Machine several times, though he only got random and mostly uninteresting items such as greek yogurt, a sewing kit, and a beret, or an item absolutely repulsive to him such as robot oil. However, Kokichi had found out that Kaito had received a milk puzzle from the MonoMono Machine, how unfair, Kokichi likes puzzles too!

The following morning, Kokichi approached Kaito in the dining hall, breakfast was over and Kaito was using the milk puzzle.

“Kaito, you’re doing it wrong!” Kokichi was sitting across from Kaito and criticizing the way Kaito was solving the milk puzzle, Kokichi didn’t actually think that though, he just wanted to distract Kaito enough so he could slip one of the loose plain white puzzle pieces up his sleeve.
