Murayama used to be childish and irresponsible, and is always eager to fight. He continued this trait even after becoming the leader of Oya High. However, he started to change when he lost to Cobra. After their fight, Murayama realized a lot of things and became more mature. He started to understand what being a leader is about. Although the Full-time students hate how Murayama excludes them from SWORD matters, he is only doing it to protect them.
