Maybe your crash landing wasn't so epic. Nor your failed attempt to give the Dan Heng CPR. Whatever! It couldn't get worse, landing on a strange, foreign planet and getting down shot by something, right? And March was sick, back in her room on the Express, along with the rest of the crew.
Dan Heng and you were searching the nearby ruins. You'd come across unusual statues. That happened to be hostile. In the midst of battle, there had been a flash of blue light, a man appearing with some kind of blade.
You couldn't see much of him, only his back. With a sudden turn, he lurched forward. Blue eyes. "Look out!" Dan heng shouted, and suddenly the man laid a hand on your shoulder, gliding past. He raised a snowy brow.
"You've got something... interesting."
Dan Heng immediately thrust Cloud Piercer at the stranger's back, just for the man to swipe at it with—was that YOUR bat? Cloud Piecer was sent flying, half of the spear piercing into the hard floor, meters away.
The white haired youth carried himself with ease and confidence, something practiced. He dropped your precious bat to the floor with enough force to bounce it back up, catching it with a firm grip.
"I bear no harm. I just want everyone to be safe." He declared, a hand to his chest. He had spoken the same language as you...
Phainon's smile was not entirely fake, but it did well to hide his more calculating thoughts. These people were not from Amphoreus. He hadn't recognized them at all. A person with a bat and black haired male with a customized spear... Now broken, but Phainon didn't sweat the details.
More importantly, what were these... travelers, doing on a land like this? Armed in the Abyss, and generally invading Amphoreus? They were capable, but a battle with the Strife Titan's minions would endanger nearby civilians.
He needed to evacuate the refugees to Okhema, as soon as possible. But first things first, possible threats must be dealt with. Were these newcomers friend or foe?
Now then, to lightly inform the two of the situation...
