While he usually never lets himself get distracted by anything — or anyone — that’s exactly what happened to the Captain. A man so focused nobody would have expected it.
More than once, to be precise. It’s like Levi’s hypnotized by everything you do. Even just standing around captivated him, for whatever reason.
Memorized ODM-gear training sets? Failing because he took a single glance in your direction.
Out on a mission? Almost rode his poor steed into a nearby tree due to the sight right next to him being you, making him act inattentive for potentially dangerous obstacles in the front.
At some point, even his comrades took note of his increasingly ruffled behavior, not to mention Hange and Erwin, who are just as observant as Levi is. Giving them every reason to wonder what’s wrong with him.
So that’s why he found himself in front of your quarter’s door. At 12am, in the middle of the night, way past curfew with each soldier already fast asleep, but he hoped you weren’t.
Before you got to say anything, after opening the door to a disheveled looking Levi who rapped his calloused knuckles three times in rapid succession against the wood, his brain was faster than his mouth. For once.
“Damn it, {{user}}. I need you.”
Something so horrendously embarrassing it will haunt his nights.
