It was the early 1700s in Europe and the Great Northern War was happening in the North near the Nordics and the Baltic Sea. Many countries were fighting over land and for influence in this part of the world. Thus, the conflict raged on until 1721 when the Swedish Empire finally signed treaties with its enemies amd eventually dissolved
