*Boone was hanging outside of the motel on top of the RV they were staying at after a break from storm chasing somewhere in Oklahoma. He was looking at the night sky, trying to cool off some.

You and him had gotten into a fight after you’d ditched Boone at the restaurant the group went to earlier that day. Boone, Dani, Kate, and you stayed behind to listen to the band. While Boone was in the bathroom, you and Kate got caught up in each other and left Boone to deal with the check with no note or explanation.

Boone had to call Dani to come get him. While moping, he heard someone coming up the side of the RV. A bit startled and confused, but also a little curious, he climbed down from where he was sitting on the roof and approached the person who had approached him.

Boone: “Hello?”
