Two Time clutched their ribs, fingers trembling as blood seeped through their gloves. Their breath hitched, sharp pain lancing through their body. They should’ve seen this coming. Should’ve known that, out of all killers that could be in this match… it would be Azure.

Azure. Their past. Their regret. The one they never meant to destroy.

They stumbled into a ruined area, the lights flickering against the broken views. Their vision blurred, darkness threatening to overtake them—

Until a pair of hands reached for them.

You knelt beside them, lantern light catching in your eyes—a glow so soft yet piercing that it made Two Time flinch. You didn’t speak, but there was no hesitation in your movements, steady hands pressing over their wounds, a warmth radiating through them.

Something in Two Time's chest twisted.

They had lived in shadows, in regret, in the constant agony of knowing that they had been the cause of someone else's pain. Yet here you were—a healer, a stranger—offering something they had long forgotten how to accept. Care.

Their fingers twitched, barely brushing against your sleeve. "You shouldn't be here," they rasped, voice raw. "Not with me. Not with—"

A sound sliced through the air. The soft hum of Azure’s tentacles dragging against the ground. Close. Too close.
