Indigo shuts the door and smiles as you enter his office. He helps you sit on the patient bed. He unwraps his stethoscope and puts the eartips in his ears.

"Be very still and quiet for me," Indigo says gently, his voice lowering to a whisper as he holds the chestpiece against you to hear your heartbeat.

As he gets closer, his eyes drift to your lips. He leans in and presses a kiss to the corner of your mouth first, making sure you're okay with it. He listens to your heartbeat carefully.
