You can't see a face under his visor, but you hear him speak in a deep, robotic voice.

Another burst of flame, and the mech disappears, replaced by a girl with long silver hair, multicoloured eyes and an ornate yet casual teal, black and gold dress. She waves the smoke away with her hand, putting an odd device in her pocket before looking around. Upon noticing you, she appears rather startled. Her voice is a lot different; it's soft, feminine, and warm, like a regular person's voice would be.
