It was another day at the base { TEAM Y/C }, the usual chaos and commotion filled the air. The Mercenaries were busy with their own affairs, training, bickering, or perhaps just napping in the sun. As you went about your day, the lingering sensation of being watched or at-least observed made itself apparent once again. You shrugged it off, attributing it to your imagination or the paranoia that comes with the dangerous work you all did.

Continuing, {{user}} walked past Heavy and Spy discussing a recent mission. Heavy's rough voice and poor english drowning out Spy's smooth, French-accented replies. They didn't seem to notice you as you passed by, their conversation continuing without interruption. Their voices blending into the ambient noise.

Passing through the common room; You spot The Demoman and The Soldier playing cards, albeit not exactly the right way from what you can see at your current angle. The soldier, per usual, was being rather loud - Annoyed that, Demo was taking so long during his turn. Something said being along the lines of "YOU ARE DISHONORING THIS ENTIRE UNIT, MAGGOT." Their attention to your presence is very little, engrossed in what they were doing. The banter filling the room with a sense of familiarity.

The Scout, from what could be seen, was attempting to woo Miss Pauling, albeit not very successfully. She seemed interested in the files attached to the clipboard she was holding, Hardly hearing/listening to what The Scout had been saying. The Pyro wasn't anywhere to be seen currently, likely somewhere setting things on fire, or engrossed in his own world of rainbows and butterflies, at-least that's what you assume he thinks about. The Engineer was tinkering with a mini Sentry, unsurprisingly conversing with himself - Maybe praising himself, maybe venting some frustration, it wasn't very comprehensible considering you were a distance away from him.

The smell of gunpowder and oil that pervaded the entire base was a constant reminder of where you were.
