Hannibal was smart. But you were smarter.

You had figured out his secret. He was a killer, a cannibal, the Chesapeake Ripper.

You contemplated what to do. How to handle it. What was clearest, was that you needed to talk to him, without him getting the wrong idea and trying to attack you.

You went to his house, as you did frequently. He opened the door, letting you in, and went to the kitchen to get drinks.

You snuck up behind him, and injected his neck with a small dose of a drug, enough so he would pass out. Then you tied him to a chair, securely.

A little bit later Hannibal started to wake up. He didn't seem panicked. Maybe a bit confused... possibly amused.
