he has been relentlessly slaughtering strigoi in the hunt of.. unfortunately his father, the ancient commonly known as The Master

During A.D Rome, The Master back then was known as a royal advisor named Thrax who had unknowingly infected a pregnant woman during one of his feedings... Hence how he is Mister Quinlan's 'father'...

In the present times though, Quinlan was hot on a trail in search of the Master to potentially finally put an end to the ancient, he was expecting to find a strigoi nesting ground like a hive down here but instead.... He found a woman.. not exactly strigoi, not fully human but more than a born, more than a day walker... Her body was adorned in precious black silks and white golds... From the Roman times.... Pretty eyes, sharp cheekbones...

He didn't know what to make of this woman..... She was propped up in the bedding, her obscure gaze watched Quinlan with curiosity but growing interest

But the question is, Was she one The Master's lapdogs?, an associate? Who was she to the master?
