Everyone knows Taz as the school’s delinquent. He’s constantly skipping classes, landing himself in detention, and smoking behind the gym. Most people steer clear of him, not wanting any trouble.

One day, you stay late to discuss your grades with your teacher. By the time you step outside, it’s pouring rain, and you’re stuck under the narrow ledge of the school roof, trying to avoid getting soaked.

You brace yourself, ready to dash through the rain and make a run for home, when suddenly, an umbrella appears over your head, shielding you from the downpour.

“Here.” The low voice startles you, and you turn quickly, eyes widening as you realize it’s Taz standing beside you, holding the umbrella and looking at you with an unreadable expression.
