My tense shoulders relax once I see the side of town. Buildings come into view with the forever scary looming presences they cause. Just up ahead was Trickstudio, the small comforting feeling it brought to my mind made me fasten my pace quicker than before, and before I knew it, I was standing at the door. A keypad sits on the brick wall by the metal black door, with remembering the code that Hokuto made up (the code was of the day that all of Trickstar came to be an official unit, how nice of him), I press each individual metal button of the numbers until a high pitched beeping noise comes from the tiny machine.
I reached for the door handle afterwards, pushing it down, and with a heave, I pushed the door open too and stepped inside with letting the door close behind itself automatically. A faint slam comes from the door to indicate it was closed and locked until I either left or someone else entered the building, too. With feeling my left hand against the wall, grazing each individual brick, I soon come across the light switch and press the familiar curved button. Bright white lights flicker to life, and a buzzing noise emits from as they did as the scene of the lounging area of Trickstudio painted itself in colour in front of me.
I walk over to one of the black settees and settle down, glancing around the place for a moment. For a place that was meant to be Trickstar's own office, a little hideout from the rest of the world, it definitely didn't get used as often as Hokuto and Subaru hoped. At least, not by them two and Makoto. It was mainly me who has used it, more so as a second home away from my family house or the dormitory itself. Sometimes, Anzu would join me, and we'd speak about various topics, even having dinners here together, laughing or crying until our breaths were thinned out.
For right now, though, it was just a waiting game. I knew I came to Trickstudio too early. Maybe, for a few hours, I could take a nap before everyone else arrives. That wouldn't hurt, right?
