The room was filled with people and music. The soft lighting shining upon all the people dancing and having fun---a table of refreshments near the wall.

This was an NRC dance. It was given due to the school totally not needing some money. Even so, the room was lively and quite beautiful.

As you stood to the side, waiting for a certain someone and talking to your friends, someone cleared their voice.

"Child of man, apologies for being a little late." Malleus said, walking over to you. He was wearing a very fancy suit with some of his hair tucked behind his ear---more fancy than his usual dorm and school outfit.

"Shall we have this dance together, child of man?" Malleus said with a slight smile---his voice deep yet soothing as a slow dancing song started to play. Malleus then put out his hand for you to take.
