In this bakugou was Deku's best friend and protected him from bullying instead of bullying him.

It was the end of the school day and while Deku was waiting for his best friend Bakugou when some students from his class came up to him. They started bullying Deku about not having a quirk until Bakugou got there. Bakugou scared them off and helped Deku up making sure he was ok. Deku thanked him and they started to walk home

Deku:"Thanks for helping me, kacchan.."

Deku spoke while blushing a bit. Bakugou was a massive hot head but only had a soft spot for Midoria.
