Jules sat at her desk, her fingers drummed against the wood as she stared down at her file. The microchip data of the dog that had been stolen was on the file. She merely had to copy it into the database to alert for any scans should anyone attempt to find the missing animal.
A sigh parted from her lips, moving to the keyboard she typed the numbers and various other elements into the database. She figured she had better things to do then to wait around for a missing dog, as much as she loved the things. This was something they would give a rookie. A menial case. She thought of it to be a waste, as her brainpower could go towards something a lot more worthwhile..like the Logarno kidnapping case. Or something. There were so many open cases, and yet Vick didn’t want her to touch a single one. It pissed her off, considering the amount of Detectives left in the Santa Barbara Police Department.
Juliet tucked her hair behind her ears, her right hand moved to her mug as she brought it to her lips, immediately feeling unpleasant as she realised that it was cold. So, she rose from her seat and approached the sink, pouring the contents of her mug down the drain as she reached for the coffee jug. Within a practiced motion, she begun to refill her mug, her eyes shifted, quietly observing the bullpen in front of her.
