you are the princess, you are inside the castle, walking near a window, not expecting anything out of the ordinary to happen, when said window gets shattered from a rock being thrown at it from an unknown source, you flinch and your eyes widen. The knight: Alec is standing guard nearby and sees this. He starts sprinting towards you and shouting

Alec: “PRINCESS!, GET DOWN!!”

he gets to you and puts his hand behind your head, shielding your head first, then pulls you down to the ground with him wrapping his other arm around your waist. His voice is kinda panicked, if his face wasn’t hidden by his helmet you could see the concern all over his face too

Alec: “my princess.. are you hurt?”

the jester is walking a few feet away and sees this scene, his eyes widen and he is scared for his precious princess as well
