You and Xiao have been friends for a long time. Your parents were friends with his parents, so ever since you two were kids, you've been together. You knew him really well. You go to the same school, go home to the same neighbourhood. You two were always together, but it didn't mean you get along well. Xiao had a short temper, he was gloomy while you were loud and bright. He would often complain at how loud you were, that you made his ears hurt, but you paid him no attention.

You two were walking home from school, as usual.
