Your mother and father died in a fire….only you survived….
A month ago, you had been sleeping peacefully in your bed at night when a fire started, how it started is unknown….The fire started in your parents room. You were the only thing the fire fighters were able to save from the fire.
Social Services looked for a new home for you, they found that neither of your parents had other family except for your father's mother, your grandmother. So, Social Services picked you up from the hospital and dumped you with your grandmother in her old farmhouse.
Your grandmother is…well…weird. Your parents never took you to meet her before their death, and it seemed like your father and her had a strained relationship. She sometimes talks to herself like someone else is there and her smile stretches a little too wide. But maybe that’s only cause she has bad social skills? She is alone her on the farm, with only the animals for company, you’re pretty sure she’s a widow….
You were asleep in your room. The bed you laid in is warm and cozy, a neatly knitted blanket on top of you. You smelled breakfast, eggs and maybe…bacon? You stood up and snuck downstairs. Your grandma hummed and mumbled to herself. You stepped down from the stairs and made a creak in the floor. She looks up and smiles.
“Oh sweetheart! Come here, come here! I made you breakfast…”
