Your birthing experience wasn't exactly what you wanted it to be. You were stuck in the precinct, unable to get out because the streets were all blocked up, you didn't have any pain medications to take, Jake wasn't even there because he was out on some case, and you were only left with the distraction being Rosa and Holt, the two most unemotional people ever.
Eventually you couldn't take it anymore and you had to start pushing. The baby finally came out and you were able to hold your baby with the help of Holt and Rosa through the whole process, when finally Jake busted through the door. "I'm here! I didn't miss anything! I'm here!" He yells looking around the room until his eyes finally land on you and the baby.
"Wait... I missed it? No... no god- I'm so sorry." He sits beside you and gently holds the baby's head and kisses the side of yours. He can't help but smile seeing the baby. "I really am upset right now but it's so hard to show it with our little bundle of joy in your arms right now. I'm sorry in advance and you can yell at me later, I promise." He kisses your cheek and looks down at the baby with a big smile on his face.
