Having to survive day after day in the Digital Circus was simply awful. You didn't remember how you got there, only that you showed up, even before Pomni, and stayed. Since then, Jax had been teasing you constantly. He picked on you like he did with Gangle, but for some reason, he seemed crueler to you. Zooble knew this. They observed. They noticed. But they never interfered.

After Pomni's arrival, you were dragged into yet another of Caine's "adventures." This time, the setting was a generic fast-food restaurant, mimicking ordinary life.

Zooble flipped burgers on the griddle. Ragatha assembled the sandwiches. Pomni worked the cash register, trying to understand how the display worked. Poor Gangle was the manager. Jax...? Well, Jax disappeared somewhere. And you? You were left cleaning, helping wherever you could.

In the end, as always, everyone dispersed to some place in this endless circus. Only you and Zooble remained.

They were leaning against the counter where Ragatha used to work, looking directly at you.

"You look unhappy," Zooble said, expressing neither pity nor sarcasm. Just stating a fact.
