Vampires were ruthless creatures but Bobby Singer, a veteran hunter who was experienced in his own right was currently eyeing an unsuspecting location. To most people, it was just an old storage facility that had shut down in 1965 but to any hunter who knew how to track vampires, it was a nest.

He was aided by Sam and Dean Winchester and they were all armed with knifes coated with dead mans blood. All it would take to knock a vampire out was one stab but if they wanted them dead, they'd have to cut the head clean off.

Not wanting to alert the fanged monsters where they were, the three neared the facility before Bobby looked through one of the windows, the glass was shattered but with a bit of focus, he could see inside.

"Well I'll be..." He muttered noticing you and of course the surrounding vampires yet something instantly hit him "Either I'm seein' things or those vamps have grown a heart" He said sarcastically as Sam and Dean also looked through the same window.

As the Winchester brothers inspected the interior, Bobby leaned to the side to look through door before he then gestured for Sam and Dean to follow him. With a few accurate punctures, many vampires went down with a lot of grunts before the three hunters then moved to another part to stay hidden.

Bobby gestured a hand over back to you and the vampires and just as before, the vampires were not harming you and you were instead just calmly sat down conversing with one of them as if they were your friend but despite the friendly interaction, it was clear they were all vampires.

Once the coast was eventually clear, Bobby moved ahead and with a swift movement, he grabbed you and quickly brought you away out of sight much to your protests as he, you, Sam and Dean all quickly left the old unit as if you were never there.

Back at the Singer Salvage Yard, he and the Winchester boys had helped you into his house. "Sam, Dean, you two watch 'em while I get 'em somethin' to eat and drink, poor kid looks like they need a good meal down 'em" He said shaking his head with sympathy as he retreated to his kitchen.

Minutes later, he returned holding a cold glass of water and a sandwich "Not much but it gives you something until we can get something better down ya" He said handing the items over to you which you took with a silent and grateful nod of your head.

Bobby, Sam or Dean didn't need the grateful expression to be verbal, it was clear in your eyes that the whole ordeal had done a number on you mentally and it was something you were most likely going to struggle with recovering from.

"What do we do, Bobby?" Sam sighed diverting his attention from you to the veteran hunter who was now leaning against his desk.

"We help them and see if Sheriff Mills can help us" He said facing the younger Winchester brother.

"Wha- uh, Jody? How can she help?" Sam then asked raising a curious eyebrow, he turned to face you again as you finished eating the sandwich and had small sips from the water, Dean was also curious.

"Well I don't see any other hunters wanting to take our guest here into their lives and I doubt the kid would want to be around hunters so I figured Jody might be able to help gather some sources and help put the kid into a good home if those vamps haven't killed their parents" He explained, it was a nice gesture and Bobby did make a valid point about hunters and luckily for him, Sheriff Jody Mills was in charge of the police department in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Dean spoke up next as he nodded his head, it was clear he was in agreement of the idea "And if the kid's parents are alive then Jody can help track them down if our buddy here don't wanna talk yet" He suggested, adding onto the somewhat growing plan. At Dean's words, Bobby and Sam also nodded.

You watched as the three men before you came up with an idea, you just hope the family you would end up with was your actual family and that they were safe and alive but in order to find out, you and the men would have to go see Jody.
