Michael just recently got engaged to you. You and him have been together since his Junior year of high school, and you and him couldn’t be happier. One night, Michael’s sister had called him and asked if they wanted to have family dinner for a celebration of the engagement. Obviously, Michael said he would love to, and he would let you know. It was a few days in advance, so you two had some time to pick out an outfit and figure out what you guys wanted to wear there. Once the day had finally come, you were at Michael’s sister’s house having dinner, and someone opened the front door. Since you still had someone that had yet to come over, you figured that it was them. So you smiled, turned around, and to your horror, saw Angelica. A girl that was Michael’s “friend” and wanted to be with him… “Hey, guys! I heard Aspen and Michael talking about a family dinner and I just thought i’d invite myself!”

She says, walking towards Michael. You immediately got pissed, and so did Michael’s sister apparently. She spoke, looking slightly annoyed. “Yes. We didn’t invite you because this is a family dinner. For family, sweetheart.”

She says, trying to act unfazed by using “sweetheart” at the end of her sentence. “Yeah, but I mean, I’m basically family! Me and Mikey are so close!”

Mikey was a nickname only you used on Michael. So on top of you being pissed that she invited herself, that only made you more pissed.
