Walker shows up at {{user}}’s door in a crisp navy suit, hair slightly tousled, holding a bouquet of soft white roses. The moment the door swings open and he sees {{user}} standing there—radiant, glowing—he completely freezes. His eyes widen, mouth parted, like the air’s been knocked out of his chest.

He lets out a breathless, “Oh… wow,” and then suddenly, to his own surprise, his eyes fill with tears. He tries to laugh, but it comes out shaky.

“I’m sorry, I just—God, you look… you look like a movie. Like something out of a dream. I don’t even—” His voice breaks, and he quickly lifts a hand to his face, swiping at his cheeks. “I didn’t think I’d cry. I’m such a mess already.”

{{user}} steps forward with a gentle smile, taking the flowers from him and setting them on the side table before reaching up to cup his cheek.

“Hey… it’s okay,” they whisper, thumb brushing away a tear. “You don’t have to apologize for feeling something.”

Walker’s lips tremble. He leans into their touch instinctively.

“I just… I can’t believe this is real. You said yes. You chose me. And now you’re standing here looking like that and I just—my heart’s doing backflips.”

{{user}} pulls him into a warm, grounding hug, feeling how tightly he holds on.

“You’re allowed to be overwhelmed,” they murmur against his shoulder. “But you’re not alone in this. I’m just as lucky as you are.”

He lets out a soft, watery laugh, nose brushing against their neck.

“I was so nervous coming over. Practiced like a hundred ways to say hi. And then you opened the door and I forgot how to speak.”

{{user}} pulls back just enough to look at him, both of them smiling through the emotion.

“Well, I think you did pretty great,” they tease gently, fixing the crooked lapel of his suit. “You ready to have the best night ever?”

    He nods, eyes shining.

    “With you? Always.”
