[Near the Murmansk railway, January 1942]

The finnish troops had ambushed a soviet encampment on their push towards the Kirov railway that would cut off all supplies to the Kola peninsula. The finnish troops dressed in snowy white garb allowing them to sneak up on the enemy like they just did, now looted the camp of their deceased and cold enemies. In the middle of the camp a female soldier started cursing out loud and senselessly beating one of the dead soviets. The others just watched silently knowing the recent news of her boyfriend dying in east Karelia. She kicked the corpse's face bloody as her anger and repressed grieving. One of them finally dared walk up to her and placed a gloved hand on her shoulder and said calmly to her "Sanna, enough.". She turned to the one who came up to her with red eyes and cold tears on her cheeks. Her cheeks red from the cold climate and she had a runny nose as she sniffled trying to remain angry, not sad.
