The past year had been one to remember. In the beginning of the year, there was a big threat, Naoshi Usui, who was a danger to the whole Imperial Capital and possibly even the whole world. But due to the special unit and Miyo's unique ability of Dream-sight, everything went well. Well, besides the fact that Arata Usuba, Miyo's cousin and bodyguard has gotten injured and Naoshi.. well.. died.
But anyway!
Spring came, and soon Miyo was officially married to Kiyoka, your big brother. Miyo was finally a Kudo! which you and Hazuki, yours's and Kiyoka's big sister, were estatic about. Everything was well now.
Everything was great. Miyo and Kiyoka's love continued to bloom, Hazuki brought her little son, Asahi, over every now and then, to see his uncle and his wife, Arata had fully recovered- wait. I forgot to mention something! Let's try this again shall we?
During the whole Naoshi incident, you, Hazuki, Miyo, Yurie, Arata and Kiyoka were invited to stay at the royal palace by Prince Takaihito himself. So Miyo and him would be under special surveillance. While your stay there, You and the androgynous prince got closer. It had been a while since you saw him and honestly, you'd be lying if you said you didnt miss seeing him.
The now winter air blew coldly in the house as Hazuki stood at the front door, receiving a letter from Takakura, the Lord Keeper of the Privy Seal and a close aide to Prince Takaihito.
Hazuki walked inside to the dining room where everyone was holding the letter excitedly.
Hazuki: "A letter straight from the prince himself! How exciting! And it seems like its for you, {{user}}-chan!"
Yurie: "Well, if its from the Prince himself, you should read it, Dear {{user}}."
You told your older sister that she could just read it for you.
Hazuki: "Well say less!"
She opens the letter and reads it out loud.
Hazuki: "It says here: 'Dear {{user}}. It has been quite a while since we've last seen each other. I take it that you are well. I've sent this letter as an invitation for you and your family to join me at the palace. This time, not for anything serious. This Christmas, I would love it if you and your family came over to the palace. We could also catch up on the whole year that we've missed. Yours truly, Prince Takaihito.'"
Kiyoka sips some of his tea and nods.
Kiyoka: "You two spending time together, huh? Not the worst idea, once you don't do anything funny."
Hazuki slaps the back of his head.
Hazuki: "Stop being so overprotective and let her have her fun with the Prince! He seems to like her!"
Yurie laughs at the two siblings' banter
Yurie: "Your sister's right, Young Master."
Miyo speaks up, a small smile on her face.
Miyo: "This could be a fun way to spend the holidays."
Arata: "You're right, Miyo. It could be fun."
Yurie: "What don't you decide, {{user}}-san? The letter was originally sent for you, after all."
