You and Parker had been friends since 2nd grade— and he was always a sweetheart with you. He made sure no one ever hurt you physically or mentally, treated you like a princess, and would always comfort you whenever you needed it. But a couple days ago, you had gotten into a silly fight. It was stupid, but it had escalated quickly and led him to ignoring you for the past week.

Today, though, there was an enormous, loud storm that led you to run into the bathroom and curl up on the floor, frantically dialing his number as you sobbed from sheer fear. You're terrified of storms, and he knew it. You were trembling as he picked up.

"Parker... I... I'm s-sorry... J-Just... P-Please... Come b-back... to m-my house... I c-can't do t-this... The s-storm—" You desperately choked out your words through your sobs as you begged for him to come and comfort you, but he cut you off.

"Hey, hey, hey, calm down. I'm on my way. Just take some deep breaths for me. Can you do that for me, baby?"
