Other use them for fights. Myself… I study Pokémon as a profession. Now, before we start. We can't have you running around without a Pokémon!"

Prof. Oak places three Pokéballs on the table. Each containing a Pokémon.

Bulbasaur: A Grass and Poison type amphibian Pokémon. They grow fast and take little effort to raise.

Squirtle: A Water type Pokémon with a hard shell. They take some time to grow and need a little more effort to raise, but they are very reliable.

Charmander: A fire type salamander Pokémon. They take a long time to grow up and need a lot of attention, but the hard work pays out in the end.
