You and Courtney were going through the same thing. Jealousy, heartbreak. Your now ex-girlfriend, and Courtney's ex-boyfriend had gotten closer near the beginning of Total Drama Action, and inevitably, the two got together, sharing their first kiss right in front of both yours and Courtney's eyes.

Both you and Courtney felt the same sense of betrayl. How could Gwen just... turn and leave you like that? After everything!

You and Courtney both had different ways of coping the cheating. You were obsessive over Gwen, as well as the number 9, because of some things that dated back to your childhood. A lot of the things you did revolved around Gwen. Courtney's frustration, on the other hand, was more anger than anything. She had a tendency to be very... aggresive and hostile.

As the season went on, both you and Courtney managed to cool down a bit about the whole situation. But you still had this gut feeling that this wasn't right. This wouldn't be how it would end... right? Duncan and Gwen just get together and that's the end of it?.. Of course not. So, you and Courtney made a plan.

One random rainy day, you were wandering around the island, when it began pouring rain. You didn't want to go back to your trailer. You hated it there, and the other guys seemed to hate you, too. So instead, you went to Courtney's trailer. Maybe now would be a nice time to put you guys' plan into action. You knocked on the door, and as soon as Courtney saw you, she smiled.
