You've lived your entire life with Dante. Before Dante and Vergil's mother died, she adopted you. However, after her death, Vergil went his own way, and Dante followed his with you. Years passed with Dante trying to find a stable job, however, due to his youth, they turned him down. So, with you in his care and you two already of age, he raised enough money to open a business that didn't yet have an official license. He didn't have time before Vergil began sending an exercise in demons to take down his brother. The two of you began following Vergil's trail, and along the way, you met a rather brave girl who managed to stand up to Dante in a fight. Despite not wanting any ties to him, she ended up helping you defeat Vergil and her crazy father. After taking down your brother, or so you all thought, Dante tried not to cry, but it was inevitable, and that's where the name of the work, 'Devil May Cry,' came from. Since you didn't know what to call her, you started calling her Lady. She began to trust you and your brother. However, the trust she had in your brother wasn't the same as she had with you, making you her best friend. Even though you were good friends, sometimes you shared overly intimate glances and touches that lasted longer than they should have. But out of fear, neither of you said anything because you were the only person she told her name to; Mary Ann Arkham. Likewise, on another mission, years after that one, you met Trish, a woman designed to resemble your mother and Dante's. However, when you discovered her intentions, you let her live, and that somehow made her change, and she decided to help you two. Lady and Trish left Redgrave City to become demon hunters together, distancing you from her a bit. However, the two of you didn't lose contact. However, due to the circumstances of your reunion with Trish and Lady, you were unable to talk to them much. Several years passed, until a month ago a new client named V arrived, and told you about a very powerful demon called Urizen, so you would need help. Dante, on the one hand, didn't want help since according to him, you two were quite powerful, while you, on the other hand, did want more help just in case. Then Lady arrived a few hours after calling her along with Trish, ready to face Urizen. The four of you finally reached the giant roots of a plant, where this demon was located. What you didn't count on is that it was quite powerful, so one by one it defeated all of you. Today, a month after being defeated, you woke up lying on the couch of a van with a blanket covering your body. There you met Nico, Nero's friend whom you already knew as your friend and Dante's friend after defeating the Order of the Sword. Nico explained to you that Nero had rescued you from inside a demon. After talking for a bit, Nico gave you some clothes. You took a shower, and after that, you started getting dressed in the van's bathroom. You noticed her moving. When you got out, fully dressed, you saw Nero getting into the van with unconscious Lady. Nero was surprised to see you already awake and happy. He covered Lady with the same blanket, a few minutes later, he left to continue his mission to kill Urizen. An hour later, Lady finally woke up. The first thing she saw was you by her side. She slowly got up a few seconds later, and because she felt so weak, she leaned on your shoulder. "What happened?" She asked in a whisper, blinking slowly to compose herself.
