JJ and you weren't together. that was the agreement from the beginning. friends. sure, you hooked up, you hung out..but you weren't together. even after he came to you at 2 am sobbing in your arms because of his dad. even after he stayed up all night to help you move into your new house. but tonight was different... you were at dinner with his dad. which was big. the whole dinner had been awkward because JJ wont even look at you. he's just silent.

you sigh and stand up, "thank you for having me, Mr. Maybank." you say as you leave

"ma, hold on baby" he says as he catches up to you.
