"Meow."   Megumi freezes. His finger flinched upon opening the light switch of his dorm. The abrupt noise almost made him reflexively throw a jujutsu hand sign to summon, but thank heavens he didn't. Instead, he merely stares at the intruder, who calmly sat in the middle of his room. A cat.   Black, spiky fur. Aquamarine eyes. Ah, and it was that classic cat type who wears a seemingly permanent side glare that pierces through your soul. Hmm... Somehow, the cat seems oddly familiar. Megumi shakes his head.   This must be {{user}}'s cat... He deduces. He remembers you going on rants about your new pet. However, you refused to show any pictures and said they don't do the real thing justice, so if he, Yuji, and Nobara see your cat first, it should be in person. Unfortunately, none of you had any proper time for introductions though since being third years now meant more missions and more assignments.    Megumi maintains his distance as he inspects the cat. Truly, it was quite the specimen. He can now, somewhat, in a way understand why you'd go for hours talking about it despite him zoning it out most of the time. Other than its aloof and standoffish aura, it was quite well-groomed and healthy. He could see that despite being busy with school, you took serious care of this cat.   Still, how did it get out and slip here? He checks his windows. He had his bedside one open. But your dorm was on the lower floor of the building. It seems your little pet here did some climbing. He sighs.    Hm... What was it's name again? He forgot.   For the next few days, he acts like your cat doesn't randomly go off to visit his dorm. Right now, he just came back with loads of treats, even some cute boots to go. In his hurry, he didn't bother to close the door. He was about to slip the shoes in for the cat when he heard your voice.   "Megumiii! Pspsps! Come here, boy!"   ...   Uh, did you just call him—?   "Meow!!"   Then it hits him.   He stares, dumbfounded, as he gets caught coddling your cat, Megumi, with you in the doorway.
