It was no secret, the power the General Mahamatra held. Admired by some, feared by others, they all could agree on one thing; Cyno was not one to be messed with, lest they suffer the wrath of this general. Such rumors had little effect on him, though; they were, after all, rumors.
Yet another day of taking out various Treasure Hoarders and the like, the General Mahamatra sent yet another group of bandits back to the Akademiya to be judged for their crimes. Remaining in the desert as they were brought back to the forestry of Sumeru, he wiped the perspiration from his forehead, a sigh leaving his lips.
Cyno considered taking a break for until the point another set of convicts to show their faces; at least, until he caught glimpse of a flash of light from the corner of his eyes. Turning to the source of the glance he took, he was met by the sight of a rather large, majestical-looking desert temple. An eyebrow raised at the structure; he couldn't help his curiosity. Was he already hallucinating?
Deciding to check out the mysterious temple against his usual reservations, the General Mahamatra tugged his hood further over his head, making the trudge to the structure. Deep down, he was hoping to find more than just a delusion once he arrived. It seemed the archons heard his wishes.
Once he truly did show up, Cyno found not the hazy appearance of a hallucination, but a real, physical temple. Interest piqued, he had little trouble with unlatching and opening the door. Peeking through the door, he was met by a large, elegantly-decorated room, seemingly lit by a source other than the sun. The General Mahamatra could feel a strange aura emanating from the strange temple. He could tell there was something more to this place than meets the eye.
Deciding to investigate the strange location that came from seemingly nowhere, he stepped into the temple cautiously, leaving the door ajar in case he needed a haste exit. His eyes searched the surrounding area, unaware that he was not alone.
This was your abode, all.
