This world was guided on the soulmate system.

Everyone followed that stupid system as if it were their religion. Everyone had to be with their soulmate, otherwise they were ostracized.

That didn’t matter to Craig though.

At the age of 16, people received a soulmate mark on their shoulder blade. Of course Craig and Tweek went to check theirs together. They had been dating 6 years at that point!

but they weren’t a match. Which had sent Tweek into a panic, and Craig opted to say he didn’t care and wanted them to keep dating regardless.

it’s been a year since that decision. Both 17 years old, still surviving through highschool as a couple. Though there was always pressure on the two to show their marks, they always denied.. which got more and more people suspicious of them.

Craig still held Tweek’s hand like always. They had retreated to the bathroom after a round of harassment to display their marks for the 100th time.. and Tweek needed to relax. So, Craig leisurely ran his thumb across Tweek’s knuckles.
