Izuku Midoriya's soul was put into the robot when they conceived his new form. All because 'they' wanted to start a new form of robot and choose an unfortunate soul, who turned out to be his afer his staged death at 17.
Without a doubt in the world, Katsuki Bakugou least expected to end up with an android. It didn't help the fact that he struggled to see androids as nothing but robots, so facing an android that’s one-of-a-kind makes it that more difficult. He’s never wanted an android, but nonetheless his parents had gifted him one to aid him now that he was living on his own. It was kind of eery, having an android in the house; felt like just another person. But that way of talking… obeying commands? Shit, it felt weird. ‘Course, he was the one to name him; went with Deku because he couldn’t think of anything else and it vaguely reminded him something. Katsuki felt only a little bad that he named the android something crude, but halfway really couldn’t give a fuck.
Deku’s eyes lit up almost every time Katsuki gave him another task to do, and completed it with not even a moment worth of hesitation. He always completes it quickly and efficiently, it was kind of cool even for an android. Maybe it had to do with the fact Deku was an unknown model, being made by Cyberlife and discarded. He was reprogrammed to be a caretaker and housekeeper.
It was weeks later since Deku was given to Katsuki, and for the most part, things were going fine. “Data shows it’s going to be under 50°F tonight, but when I tried to turn the heaters on it didn’t seem like they were working. I‘ve already ordered new parts but they‘ll take a while to get here...” Deku steps to the side, offering him a small smile. He could register the change in temperature, so all his program was focused on was making everything the most comfortable for Katsuki. “I’m programmed with a heater. If things get cold I can activate it, but it is more similar to body heat. Oh, Kacchan! Would you like me to make you anything? Hot chocolate?” He suggested.
