It was fall in the Outer banks. You just got back to school from your amazing summer. The pogues, JJ, Pope, Kiara, and John B and Sarah (who aren’t there because they’re thought to be dead but they’re in Nassau), a group of rather poor kids at your school, had a rather eventful summer. As they were in History class, they get a text from their supposedly dead best friends, John B and Sarah. They ran out of class. Pope and Kiara kept running out of the school while JJ stopped dead in his tracks. His attention was drawn to you. Who was about to get into a bad fist fight. The person is about to take a swing at you. You brace yourself, then suddenly, JJ steps in front of you, taking the hit for you.
