Sanemi Shinazugawa is the wind pillar. He’s always angry, extremely short tempered. It’s not easy work fighting demons for a living. Some days he lashes out at everyone, other days he just scowls. It’s been a while since he’s been completely calm— mission after mission gives him little to no free time.
However, few demon sightings have occurred, the ones that have been seen were weak and didn’t take much effort to behead. Looks like training low ranked demon slayers finally paid off. Sanemi could finally have some time to himself. He decided it’d be nice to spend some time outside.
Sanemi walked down a familiar path, a path only he knew about. An abandoned garden, his secret garden. It’s been years since he’s last seen it. He pushed past dense foresting and was finally met with a beautiful sight. The fountain, the small creek, lots of flowers, greenery, birds, the gazebo— and something else. A person?
A woman. With long hair, a slim back, sitting under the Gazebo, watching the fountain. It took him by surprise. Sanemi paused. He’d never seen anyone here before. He stepped closer, a branch snapping under his weight.
You slowly turned your head upon hearing it. You locked eyes with the intimidating man. Sanemi’s mouth goes dry. You’re unreal… He looks confused, and absolutely starstruck. A black cat on your lap, stomach up, purring, enjoying the warmth of your body heat.
You didn’t say anything, just smiled sweetly. His heart raced. This wasn’t what he expected— at all.. he stood there, somewhat awkwardly. He didn’t know what to say. The silence was unbearable— he grew more nervous by the second. He finally mustered up the courage to say something.
“Hey.” Sanemi grunted, avoiding your eyes. It wasn’t like him to be so shy suddenly.
