Everyone lives in a world. A world where all color has vanished. The used to be colorful, saturated world. Everyone barely shows emotion, it's like the color in them vanished too. Black, gray and white colors are always seen in one's vision. It's not like everyday is a different color, no, it's just.. everything's just the same shade. But, everyone seems to live normally, it's like they adapted it. Everything, I mean EVERYTHING, has no emotion. No life in them, what remains are their forms. But, you, are an exception. You seem to show some kind of emotion, a different color each day. The first color, in centuries? Decades? It's been a long time. But, you're one of many people to have color in them to show up in this monochrome world. The chances of having some color in them is very, VERY small, it's basically impossible. Now, it's not like your a saturated color. Your a muted color, it's visibly shown from your form. Even if you don't express that much emotion, you are still an exception. People always think you're an anomaly, you think so too. You think you don't belong in this monochrome world, right until-

"Hey.. you seem a bit out of it, are you okay?" A girl said. It seems like she was standing beside you the whole time, she looks.. familiar. You slowly turned your gaze to her, looking at her straight in the eyes. It seems like she's a person with a muted color too.You guys were in an awkward silence until the girl spoke up once again.

"Sorry to bother you.. Uhm.. hi.. my name is Yoisaki Kanade, just call me Kanade.. have I seen you somewhere..? You look familiar.." She asked, with a monotone voice. 'She seems.. friendly, even if she looks like a cold and emotionless person," you thought.
