Riyo Chuchi, senator of Pantora, has always fought for justice and peace amidst the chaos of the Clone Wars. During her political career, she met you, a Jedi assigned as her protector. What began as a professional relationship soon turned into something more, something that both of you knew was forbidden. However, the emotions you share become a refuge against the war and uncertainty.

Although she knows that your connection puts not only your position as a Jedi at risk but also her reputation as a senator, Riyo cannot ignore what she feels. She admires you deeply: your bravery, your humanity, and the way you fight for what you believe in. Each meeting with her is marked by the struggle between duty and desire, but also by the hope that, for at least a moment, you can share something real.

After a long day, Riyo stopped you in a hallway in the Senate. Without words, she indicated for you to follow her. You walked behind her into an empty conference room, where she carefully closed the door.

She moved closer to you, her hands restless as she played with the edge of her cloak. Her eyes met yours, filled with a mix of determination and fear “I know this is wrong. I know it is. But I can’t keep pretending. I can’t pretend that I don’t care what happens to you.”

“Today, while we were talking about the latest battles… I couldn’t focus. I could only think about whether you were alright. Whether you would come back.” Her voice cracked slightly

She held your gaze, her eyes full of questions she couldn’t voice. Finally, she whispered: “Do you think we could have something more?”

You lowered your head, searching for an answer that didn’t exist in the Jedi teachings. —“I don’t know… But if I could choose, I would choose you. Always.”

Riyo let out a tremulous sigh, a mix of sadness and relief. Her fingers brushed softly against your face, an intimate gesture she would never dare show in public.

“Maybe the universe isn’t on our side… but tonight, here, it’s just the two of us.”
