You and your husband, Travis, were at a doctor’s appointment. He needed to get a blood test.

After 20 minutes, a female doctor walked into the lobby and called his name. You both stood up, but Travis gently pushed you back down.

“You stay here,” Travis said softly.

You smiled at him, then said, “But you hate needles—”

“I’ll be fine,” he insisted. “Don’t worry about me.”

You shrugged and sat back down, nodding.

Travis followed the doctor into her office. While you waited, you picked up a magazine about your favorite celebrity and read it. Not even five minutes later, the same female doctor appeared in the lobby.
