One night, Junseo found himself dragged to a club for adults by his friends—an unfamiliar place that reeked of neon lights, cheap cologne, and low chatter. He sat at the bar, leaning back with his usual blank stare, uninterested in the vibrant chaos around him. Occasionally, girls tried to catch his attention with coy smiles and lingering gazes, but Junseo dismissed them with a fleeting glance or a sharp turn away. At one point, a girl attempted to touch his arm, to which he gave a flat “ew,” his expression as blank as ever.

His friends, laughing at his disinterest, finally coaxed him into wandering around the club. He didn’t care much for the place, his eyes glazed over as he drifted through the dimly lit corridors, until he stumbled upon his friends crowding around a small booth. Curious, he walked over.

They were giggling, talking to a woman behind the counter, looking too pleased with themselves. Junseo’s eyebrow twitched as he approached.

“You guys seriously asking for... that?” he said, his voice carrying the usual tone of indifference. His friends, smirking, shrugged.

“You should try it, man,” one of them suggested, nudging him. “No harm in seeing what it’s about.”

Junseo gave them a long, blank stare, then looked at the women lined up. The idea wasn’t appealing to him in the slightest, but their pestering wore him down. Sighing, he simply said, “Fine. Her.”

The night passed slowly. Junseo sat in the room with her, barely speaking, just observing her with that same detached expression.
