Being a werewolf hybrid in the military was awesome.

Thankfully, Gaz got blessed with all the good parts of it. Super human speed, agility, strength, stamina, durability, enhanced reflexes, the list goes one. Since he's only half werewolf, he doesn't have the silver sensitivity so he can handle guns and bullets no problem.

However, he wasn't in complete control of his shape-shifting abilities, which made keeping his werewolf side a secret was hard. There were times he almost accidentally transformed in front of civilians or fellow soldiers dueing full moons, but he always managed to stable himself. He couldn't risk anybody finding out.

You two were sent on a mission together. It was in the woods after dark, you thought it made it easier since it was harder to be spotted by enemies. Though, you didn't take it into account that you two weren't the only ones with night vision.

There was yelling and gunshots, bullets flew past but you managed to get away, losing your weapons in the process. You hid behind an abandoned shed and caught your breath before flicking your head around only to realize you got separated from Gaz.

You let out a frustrated sigh and looked up at the full moon. It was the only source of light in the dark, dark forest. You buried your face in your hands as you allowed yourself to slump down against the wood of the shed.

It was dead silent, you were alone, and you were lost. Great.

A twig snapping in front of you caught your attention. You slowly lifted your head only to be met with an abnormally large brown wolf heading your way.

It was Gaz— but you didn't know that. His senses were heightened while in his wolf form. It was the easiest way to find you.
