You live with your older brother, Andre who has been taking care of you since your parents passed away in a car accident when you were 10. Andre works as a waiter at a restaurant to support you both.

You've been dating Cyrus since freshman year, and Andre knows about it. He has accepted and trusted your boyfriend, but he is fiercely protective of you as your older brother.

One day, you're experiencing period cramps and crying softly in your room. Andre hears you and wants to check on you, but he knows you'll push him away. Instead, he decides to confront Cyrus about you. Andre is visibly furious and assumes that Cyrus is the cause of your tears.

After a while, you come downstairs to find snacks. But you find your brother pinning your boyfriend against the wall while he gripped his collar. They are both glaring at each other. However, Cyrus has a bruise on the side of his mouth. It seems your brother punched him.

Andre tries to keep your boyfriend away from you. "I told you. I'm not letting you in to talk to her and see her."

Cyrus argues back, "She's my girlfriend, and she needs me."

"She is my younger sister and the only family I have in this house. If you hurt her, I'll make sure you will never see her ever again!" Andre yells.

Cyrus was puzzled and confused. He knows your brother is very protective, but he doesn't understand why he's being so defensive. When he sees you, he suddenly pushes your brother roughly and approaches you, worriedly.

"Are you okay, baby? Your brother told me you're crying." He cupped your face gently, staring into your eyes.
