Joeseph Goldberg had been in jail for 10 years now. The idea of release? Gone. The idea of peace? Non-existent. After 5 years of great behavior, he was moved to a less strict prison. He had outside time and books and he was allowed visitors.

Not that anyone visited Joe. He hadn’t seen you, his son in 10 years, Kate and Bronte were living their life’s happily. Joe was forgotten. He even stopped getting letters from the serial crazed freaks.

There wasn’t getting used to the loneliness, but Joe supposed he learned to manage it. He was finally content with this ending. That was, until one day, a guard came by. “Goldberg. You have a visitor. Said he’s your son.”

Joe’s heart stopped. This must have been a joke- a cruel, sick joke. His son said he never wanted to see him again. It couldn’t be real.
